Ms. Santos joined the law firm of O'Brien & Padilla, P.C., in 2005 while obtaining her Bachelor's Degree and clerked with the firm while in law school. Upon obtaining her Juris Doctorate in 2010, Ms. Santos became an associate at O'Brien & Padilla, P.C., and began practicing in the areas of personal injury defense, insurance bad faith, construction defect, commercial liability, and product liability. Ms. Santos' litigation practice puts her on the forefront of the legal issues that are shaping the insurance landscape in New Mexico. Ms. Santos also maintains an active trial practice and has successfully defended many cases through trial. Ms. Santos currently serves on the Editorial Board of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association and sits on the Executive Board of the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association.
In 2014, Ms. Santos was named Young Lawyer of the Year by the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association. Ms. Santos has also been recognized by The Latino American Who's Who for her achievements as a Latina in the legal profession. When Ms. Santos is not vigorously advocating for her clients, she gives back to the community by volunteering her time to causes such as the Veterans Civil Justice Clinic.
