Anyone that knows anything about having to hire an attorney for legal matters understands that the process doesn't happen over night and you get what you pay for. I have read previous negative reviews about Melissa and I believe they are absolutely false! Melissa is very meticulous, dedicated, and passionate about what she does. No, she does not have time to sit on the phone with clients.. why? Because she is working hard to deliver the best results. I have had three different attorney's in my lifetime for custody as well as adoption and Melissa is by far the best. I can't stress enough about how great she is and how pleased one would be with the end result like I am!

Melissa was very responsive, through, caring, and professional. It was a pleasure working with her and the team. Our initial visit started out with Melissa and I’ve even reached her on her personal cell number a few times. This made our relationship more personable in the professional setting. I would change anything about the experience of working with Melissa. The timeframe she gave for this process to be over was very accurate. The other attorneys and team were such a pleasure to meet.

Melissa did a fantastic job for me, she actually got me a better deal than I ever thought possible. She is also very relaxed and personable, which helped to put me at ease during stressful times.

She may be a good attorney doing Guardian Ad Litems, but for a personal atty doing disability cases, she isn't. The only time I saw her was when I first went to her office and right before I saw the disability Judge the first time. She wouldn't even call in my witness that I had with me, to testify on my behalf to my disability.
The one person I dealt with all the time was her legal secretary, not with Melissa.

Melissa was assigned as a GAL on my case. Very two-faced telling information that dad was telling her and vice versa. She played the professional part but before you spend money with this firm, please find someone else that is serious and not messy. I had a bad feeling about her over a phone conversation. Yes, she listened to the children and made her report, but she insisted on telling me that she spoke to the other parent and his partner. She already had an opinion of me before she met me. Even though I won the case, I still feel as if the professionalism was at an all-time low, and the pot was being stirred. I would not recommend Franklin Law under any circumstances. To any parent that might have to deal with this firm, please or run and I mean, run the other way as fast as you can find someone who Isn’t going to go back-and-forth and tell the other parent information and vice versa.

I wish I would have read the reviews. I totally agree with all of them. I honestly feel let down. In my opinion I don’t think that this firm really cares about outcomes, as much as they do income. I hope they take heed to these reviews because they are a true critique of the services performed. This is what people who have given you their hard earned money are saying about the quality of the work being done. It’s truly disappointing.

for the money my now wife paid her she did nothing she was suppose to help her get her kids back whom her abusive ex-husband practically stole. she paid 4500 upfront then mellissa wanted another 7000 and when my wife went to pay she was told Melissa went to court and got taken off her case. so now my wife barely sees her kids and the ex husband was fired from his detention officer job for abusing his new wife's son. but my wife told Mrs Franklin what an abusive man he is
