This firm is a vampire that will simply drain your funds with auto-replenish. The payment contract I signed is 3 times thicker than my final decree. My experience was a man simply pushing the paperwork through. No advice offered to help my future, original complaint has the adultery stated but failed to be placed in final decree, paid over 15 grand to stay out of court and billed me for every phone call and email to opposing counsel that I did not initiate. Did not know my mailing address for the final decree and had to insist they place a clause in it so I could return to my birth name. If you plan to negotiate your own settlement to save cost, hire a private attorney who will steer you in the right direction to protect your future, not drain the little bit you have. They do not have a care at all for the client but will tell you how friendly they are with opposing counsel and youll pay for that call too!! So sorry I hired them.

My experience with Petrelli Previtera started off promising, but it deteriorated almost immediately after they collected my retainer. The onboarding was smooth and the team was extremely responsive—until the moment the initial consult was over. From there, the customer service nosedived. The three times I actually managed to speak with my assigned attorney, it was painfully clear he barely knew my case. I heard more “um’s” than actual legal advice. He even told me he had filed paperwork to appear as my attorney of record—yet when I terminated the relationship and hired a new attorney, his name never appeared anywhere. Despite that, I was still billed for the service. I emailed the accounting department five separate times asking for an audit or at least a conversation. I was completely ignored. I also made multiple phone calls—again, no response. Reviewing my invoices, there is simply no reasonable explanation for how an entire retainer was burned through.

Hired Attorney Thomas J. Petrelli Jr.

My case was not on Tom Petrelli's priority list and I was extremely dissatisfied with the legal services his office provided for my divorce. Not only was Tom arrogant, but he was he was not helpful or timely with his services. I highly recommend choosing another attorney in the city for divorce law.
