Hired Attorney James R. Fridie III

What an absolute nightmare and a waste of my time working with James Fridie! I retained him in late 2020 to handle my expungement. We received the expungement order signed by the judge in April 2021, and he told me it could take up to a year for the state police to remove the records. Fine. April 2022 comes around, and I noticed that the expungement has not been completed and records still showing on background checks. So James Fridie begins investigating as to why... fast forward 8 months to December 2022, James Fridie cannot figure out why the expungement is not going through and tells me he is constantly calling the prosecutor's office and courts to find out what's going on... fast forward another 6 months to June 2023, he claims he is still calling and mailing the documents repeatedly with no solution in sight! I even offered to pay him EXTRA to make this a top priority, but he declined and still cannot figure out the issue. August 2023 comes, and still no answer from James Fridie,

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
