I had filed for SSI and I contracted the attorney in the middle of it. They did the best they could, but the judge wouldn't let my attorney really say anything and apparently ignored what she was allowed to say. I lost the case, but I don't believe it was the fault of my attorney. I was told the judge had done some illegal things when deciding my case and I could file for an appeal, but my attorney advised me to reapply and contract with a local attorney as I had relocated. So that's what I did.
The individuals I had contact with at the Parmele Law Firm, at the Joplin Missouri office, were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgable in the field of disability law. It made the last two years, fighting for my disability, much easier. I knew I had someone that was fighting for me and with me, and it was a lot better experience because of their care and handling.
