Hired Attorney Steven Chaiken

Steve is simply the best. Extremely bright, knowledgeable, yet supportive and empathic which is unusual for a bk lawyer. It is an extremely emotional and stressful journey going through personal bankruptcy. Having Steve navigate the process and be there for me all the way - as well as do an exceptional job working with me and all my creditors meant the world to me. As Winston Churchill said "when you go through Hell keep going" Steve kept me going.

Hired Attorney Steven Chaiken

Steve assisted us in purchasing a company out of bankruptcy. He absolutely made the deal happen. Many times lawyers are responsible for killing deals but Steve has the ability to see and understand the whole picture with all its relevant bankruptcy constituents.
He juggled many balls and kept a cool, calm and encouraging demeanor
He has an excellent work ethic, always responds promptly to questions and is an extremely smart lawyer
I highly recommend him and his firm

We met Mr Chaiken when my wife and I were in dire straights due to a lawsuit. His attention, dedication, communication, interest and resolve helped us beyond what we thought possible. He was caring and genuinely interested in our case and went out of his way to make sure we had all the proper information to protect us. We prevailed in the lawsuit and it was only due to Mr Chaikens expertise and hard work on our behalf

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
