Initially a verbal agreement for said case was arranged. Never any formal business agreement for paying or how to be billed. As plaintiff, I left with the defendant’s attorney writing hand-written court notes that would be a twist of words. The defendant apparently knows him outside the case, which I didn’t know beforehand. We have sent hundreds of emails and texts and placed phone calls almost daily trying to reach him and get everything fixed over the years. Needless to say this has put a bad taste in my mouth for what the court is there for. I am now in an arrangement that puts my family in a financial position to be strained every month. My children are very anxious and stressed with the visitation and it wrecks havoc during the school year having an autistic child in the mix. But I digress…The case has never been closed and was opened in 2015.
