Stephen R. McDonald is Chair of the Litigation group at CGA Law Firm and has been practicing law for over 25 years. He has acquired extensive experience in multiple areas. Stephen is a seasoned attorney in both civil litigation and criminal defense. Prior to joining CGA, Stephen worked at the York County District Attorney’s Office where he spent years doing jury trials.
Prior to his time as a prosecutor, Stephen was the president of a title company and handled thousands of real estate transactions. He developed a thorough knowledge of title, contracts, assessments and easements. Additionally, Stephen is well versed in municipal law and serves as the solicitor for multiple municipalities in south central Pennsylvania, as well as the York County Clerk of Court’s Office. He has also represented clients in front of zoning hearing boards and other municipal and local government entities.

Stephen is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He has been admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Maryland. He is currently a member of the York County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.
