Mr. Rogers took it upon himself to get things done that a prior lawyer we had worked with had left for us to do. I would describe his approach as pro active. He tailored the documents for our particular situation with a good ear for our concerns. He was totally patient with a couple of clients (us) and made us comfortable to ask questions.

Smilie is very conscientious about every detail of the transactions, not just for today, but thinking out years from now and the ramifications of choices being discussed today. He does not make assumptions about what I want. He makes sure that we both know what I want. He really cares about doing the right thing, not about "being right."

Extremely knowledgeable & highly educated. Attorney Rogers has a keen knowledge of the law and provides excellent advice. Estate planning is an emotional process. No one wants to think about death. Attorney Rogers offered sound advice, provided assistance in determining what best met our needs, and prepared exactly the documents we wanted and needed. Attorney Rogers listened and answered all our questions. He did such a great job doing my Dad's documents, that my husband and I hired him for us!

Quickly responsive, very comfortable both in setting and personality, well versed in areas I required, very internet savvy [which resulted in a much easier ability to communicate, even for an old lady like me!]. He was very reassuring and helpful and informative on the process my siblings and I would need to follow to probate my father's worldly possessions as he died intestate. He did all the initial contacts with probate court and completed all requested legal forms in a timely and competent manner I would recommend his services to others in need of estate advice
