I hired Paul Durkee in Aug 2021 because this firm has good ratings. My former attorney before Paul made a mistake by not filing a case appeal and left me hanging a year. Paul found this appalling and promised he could help me. After signing the dotted line it was difficult getting confirmations of the paperwork I was sending in on a timely basis. I would have to call to confirm receipt of my documents because I felt my emails weren't being received. I was on a conference call with the firm and a government agency Nov 2021. The firm never wrote down the name of the woman we were speaking to, throwing the case details into a spiral. For 9 months this attorney and his staff told me my case was 'Pending'. Not only was it NOT pending, they were lying to me telling me they 'had a back end system to check the status of my case' when I called the government agency myself and was told the case was cancelled 1 month after it was filed.
