I would recommend Meredith Ditchen to anyone in need of legal representation. She is professional, but also personally cares about her clients. She is aggressive in court as though she is representing herself, truly wanting to do her best for you. I have a ton of respect for her as she isn't the 'just in it for the money' type. She believes in justice.
As a parent coordinator in my case and in my opinion, Ms. Ditchen-Oakley didn’t seem to remain a neutral party and overstepped in her role. Instead of focusing on and promoting resolution to existing disagreements between me and my ex, she continually created issues where there had not previously been any. Using scare tactics as leverage, she repeatedly encouraged me to voluntarily give up portions of my parental rights and custody. After nine months and thousands of dollars spent with Ms. Ditchen-Oakley our situation was significantly worse than it was when we began meeting with her and we ended up in court anyway. I’m grateful that I remained firm during the process with Ms. Ditchen-Oakley as I prevailed in court, losing no custody (I’m a dad with 50% legal and physical) or parental rights. I do not recommend her as a parent coordinator.
