Craig W. Baumann is a Minnesota-licensed attorney admitted to practice in all Minnesota state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals. He began his legal career in 1986 with the Woodbury firm Steigauf & Baumann before later opening his own practice to provide clients with more direct, personal representation. People who reach out to Craig work with an experienced attorney from the start, not a paralegal or legal assistant. Craig has earned an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a distinction reserved for a small percentage of lawyers and recognized as a marker of strong legal ability and high ethical standards. He also serves the profession as an ethics investigator for Minnesota’s 19th District, reviewing complaints made against attorneys and reporting his findings to the Minnesota Board of Professional Responsibility. After completing his first term, he was asked by the chairman to serve a second. Craig received his B.A. in Political Science from Luther College and his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law. He has lived in Woodbury since 1988.

Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Craig Baumann is an excellent attorney who helped my dad with his will and was able to work within a very tight time frame. He is very knowledgeable with wills, trusts, and the probate process and can explain legal procedures in ways that are easy to understand. He has given us great advice, and the confidence we have in him has greatly eased our minds knowing that we are in good hands. We can talk directly with him instead of having to relay messages through a receptionist, and he is very responsive to emails and voicemails. Highly recommend!
Did work on my father-in-law's estate planning and probate issues. There was a Tustin in place, and we found that his house did not make into the trust. Craig helped us work through what needed to be dobe.
He didn't do divorce but gave me recommendations for other lawyers
