I paid her $1250, which was half of her fee, while my ex husband was responsible for the other half. She was assigned as the Guardian Ad Litem. I gave her a list of names and numbers to contact for proof of my ex’s violence and abuse. She had over a month, didn’t call anyone on my list until the night before court. When they didn’t answer, she left a message as if she were his lawyer. She didn’t speak to my children’s therapist like she was supposed to and missed two meetings for her to come look at my house. Both days she had an excuse not to come by. She then proceeded to ask me to video chat and she could see my house that way. She did NOTHING then said the kids should be able to see if the grass is greener. I would never recommend her for any job. She seriously dropped the ball. Now my kids are in danger and there’s nothing I can do about it! She’s like a student that procrastinated writing their paper until the night before it was due.
This attorney is the last person you would want being your childrens guardian ad lidem. Our case went on for months and she never spoke to our children about their wants for reunification. It is her job to zealously fight for her clients wants and needs, how could she know them without ever even speaking with them. She is tied to the state and will do as they instruct her, corrupt.
This "Law Firm" is a complete joke. They seem to be barely in existence operating from a PO Box and a Gmail email address. I was referred to Ms Ensley by my legal services network to handle a dispute. At first, she started discouraging me from pursuing this case. I gave her a series of questions that any sharp attorney would know. She, sheepishly said that she would research those questions and get back to me. I was not surprised when I did not hear anything from her. But what is more amazing is that, 2 months later, I get an email stating that "Due to her Heavy Workload" she can not handle my case. I had already written off this loser. Do not waste your money nor time with Ensley Law Firm.
