She’s the worst lawyer. Never received a letter or an email from her. Never did anything and then ask to be removed from my case after she gave my house away and did not represent my interests as she should’ve. I will recommend for anyone to not waste your money and time with Mrs. Davis. It’s not easy to be going through a divorce and then even worse when you are not represented in the proper way.
Very awful experience!! Hired Sonya Davis on October 30,2019 and nothing was filed to my case until February 6, 2020. When I would call to ask Sonya why nothing was filed to my case she would give me excuses like the clerks office is behind in scanning. When I contacted the Clerk of Courts they stated she didn’t submit anything. It wasn’t until I hired an new attorney is when she submitted my documents. Now trying to get my refund money is another cat and mouse game with her. Very unethical, no communication (when I did communicate with Sonya she lied of why something wasn’t submitted), and nothing done in a timely manner. Lawyers like this is a disgrace to the Florida Bar. No one should have to go through this many hoops to get their case to court. When you pay someone you expect a service, not excuses after excuses or them just ignoring you. It is sad when you’ve got to submit someone to the bar, since they aren’t up holding their job duties they were swore in to do.
Absolutely awful experience with Sonya. Only reason we went with her is because she was a family friend and charged a decent price. Well, now she's no longer any type of friend and completely wasted our money. Whatever we did not know, she belittled us immediately. Whatever we thought was important to use as proof, she shot down and said what we were doing was useless. Threatened to drop us, no returned calls, informed of court dates 1-2days prior with no preparation, etc. Awful!
This woman did nothing, but Harass and harass me with threats of putting me in jail. She lied under oath to the judge about my divorce case and . she made my divorce way worst then it could of been. she had her son asking my 5 year old sexual questions, he is not licensed to do any of this. he works as her secretary. She is a snake. she should be put behind bars for her using her career as a lawyer to interrogate and harass people. LIES WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU SONYA DAVIS . Justice will prevail
Do not use. Waste of time and money with no results. You'll hire her and not get anything done you hired her for.
