My parents retained Jerry Goldberg for their purchase of their property and I have to say it they did not have a good experience. 1. The initial contact was really slow. Like extremely long. It took his office 3 weeks to respond back to my parents to retain his service. 2. I can’t believe he accept my parents file knowing that he won’t be here for the closing. He was in Florida doing the closing for my parents. We could have use a different lawyer if he wasn’t available. 3. My parents doesn’t understand English and have asked me to be present to help interpret. Mr. Jerry got upset and spoke loudly that my parents got scared and abruptly hung up. 4. Mr. Jerry asked questions that were uncomfortable to my parents. He wanted to know after selling our home and there were funds left over, what we plan on doing with the money. I don’t understand why this information was needed to complete the file. After leaving his office my parents were scared, upset and not sure what they signed
A family member called Jerry shortly before he passed because of a bad behaving family member to inform him that she had received her share of the estate (she is sleeping with a lawyer that works across the street from Jerry) Jerry explained this to me perfectly that he understood the conversation that the member received her share. As soon as I signed him on as solicitor he forgot the conversation and fabricated a 2 yr legal battle that cost us $250,000
