New I went to her with help for a divorce.It took over a year to have it completed. I would call every other month just to check on the status of it, and would get no inside of how much longer anything would take. Once I got my bill, I so I was charged for everything (which yes i know i would be charged for the divorce side) but what I did not realize that I would be charged for trying to keep them to stay focused on my case. Maybe I didn't realize or have the clear expectation set to me from the beginning. But if I'm paying someone a lot of money and and I haven't heard from you in 2 months, yes, I'm gonna call and check on you. I do not expect to get charged for calling to see the status on something after months of waiting... Point of all this is yes they will charge you for every little thing and try to stall out as long as they can. But they will get thir job done eventually
worst attorney imaginable. took over approximately nine thousand dollars to represent me in a divorce i filed . . .filed motion after frivolous motion to run up bill then quit just days before court. i subsequently won by representing myself against a multi decade experienced attorney. . .but ms. oneal stewart quit when threatened with civil action against her personally by opposing counsel because of all aforementioned motions. even charged me for motion she had to file for her family emergency
