she was very upfront and honest about the whole experience,including fee's there were no surprises,everything went just the way she said it would most likely go,i was very pleased with the whole process,considering what it was about.
While waiting, listening to a litany of complaints and problems being discussed by employees. No follow up with the Dept of Taxation of Virginia, I'm doing that now that they've "lien'd" me. Lots and lots of impressive paperwork done. Never met Ms. Solomon. Worked with a junior attorney. Key contact was known by my wife and I and we had a relatively good working relationship, but again, busy busy, so occasionally not available.
I had my divorce drawn up with her in her office and when I called back months later I was told that I would have to pay another $500. to get my file out of storage. I suppose they moved office locations and instead of having things filed on their computer they supposedly had them in another location in paper storage. I was not going to pay any more money to get divorced from an abusive alcoholic! Went to the courthouse to file papers myself, then my ex-husband finally agrees to a divorce.
She assured all was simple and that she would definitely find him, that he cannot hide. All of the work was done by assistants and done by phone or computer. Husband was found but could not be made to adhere to law as he is out of the country. I asked continually, if I would divorce him would I get my medical insurance and benefits I am entitled to by law. She NEVER answered me. Without my knowledge.. she simply ended the case with the Judge!!!!!!!!! I am paying her more than bargained for.
Possibly the worst legal experience I have had. Firm did not have experience with the particulars of my case (although made claims otherwise). I told them timeliness was a concern and they blew that off. Sincerely recommend you find a reputable firm in the area over these jokers.
