Attorney J. Mark Stewart is unquestionably one of the most Moral & Ethical attorneys I have ever found. He is able to empathize with his clients and is knowledgeable in everything I have ever brought to him when I have needed legal assistance.

Entrusted with my parents' estate planning, I was deeply disappointed when, after TN DHS Adult Protective Services illegally removed my parents, this attorney simply complied with the state’s actions against my interests. As their only adult child with a publicly documented durable power of attorney, I was helpless. I ultimately lost over $2 million in inheritance—money my father earned over 34 years working for the State of TN, the University of TN, and the Federal Department of Agriculture. I believe Mr. Stewart’s license should be revoked in TN due to incompetence. My parents passed away within four years of being taken from their home without notice. Now, I survive on just $1,300 a month in 2026. Mr. Stewart’s performance as a lawyer in TN has been nothing short of incompetent, and he should be avoided by anyone seeking legal counsel.
