Lisa Pyle joined Marshall & Taylor PLLC after more than 22 years as a litigator in both the public and private sectors. She brings to the firm an extensive background in advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom practice, along with a passion for helping clients through life’s most personal legal challenges.
Lisa earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York City in 2003 and began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, where she gained extensive trial experience handling complex criminal cases. She later practiced at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, one of the nation’s leading law firms, and spent 16 years with the U.S. Department of the Treasury providing legal counsel on employment, ethics, and administrative matters. Most recently, Lisa served as Counsel at Holon Law Partners, where she led the firm’s employment litigation practice.
At Marshall & Taylor, Lisa applies her litigation background and client-centered approach to family law matters, guiding clients through divorce, custody, and support disputes with empathy, skill, and sound judgment. She believes in practical solutions that zealously protect families while minimizing unnecessary conflict.
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Lisa enjoys Wilmington’s coastal community and laid-back lifestyle. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling, relaxing at the beach, running along the shore, and skiing whenever she gets the chance.
