Words can't even fully describe how amazing Wanita Ellis and her team were at the Cape fear Family Law Group with handling my custody and divorce case. Starting with the first day of consultation I felt extremely comfortable and reassured that they would take care of my needs. 10 years of marriage, children, and owning a business together seemed like a daunting and impossible task to negotiate. Wanita was able to close and complete my custody and divorce tactfully and aggressively with the best interest of my children and myself. There was always open communication with her and every time you talk to her you can tell in her voice, that she is truly compassionate about what she does. I had so many fears going into this chapter of my life. If I had known that this process would have been this smooth, I would have executed this much sooner.

She handled my case with so many complicated issues (emergency custody, child support contempt, alimony)with such ease! Her closing argument was like something off of Law & Order, and her ability to question witnesses and get all the right info. is amazing!

Awful experience. Was embarrassed during court that we had actually paid for them to “represent” us.

These folks took my retainer, accomplished nothing, and then tried to bill me twice my retainer amount. This is in violation of their own attorney/client contract and used to be called "sharp practice," or FRAUD. I think they troll for unsuspecting laymen and then fold when they encounter a client who knows the law and call them out. DO NO HIRE THESE CROOKS!
