My Name is Adam Tharpe, I am a cancer survivor. I became disable because of my illness and financial stability completely collapsed. I received a noticed in the mail that I was being sued by Capital One Bank because I could not pay them. Mr. Bob Meyers handled my cases. I had two accounts, & Mr, Meyers truly understood my hardship situation. Mr. Meyers patiently explained my cases throughly and helped through the process. Mr. Meyers provided excellent customer service. Thank You, LD&V Law.
This firm buys old debts and then sues you for it. That's right, the debt has been charged off by the creditors, but they still sue you. Garnish wages and attack your bank accounts. I called and talked to someone who was beyond rude. I was a victim of identity theft and have the police reports to prove it. The debt in question was one of the accounts that was fraudulent. The law firm cannot prove it's me, cannot prove they served me, yet they say they did and filed a judgment without my knowledge. When discussing the case with the representative, she was condescending, threatening and downright derived pleasure by harassing good people. I've now hired a law firm to represent me. Beware of this "law firm".
This "law firm" is a joke. They have been sending me my ex-husband's legal mail and court summonses for over a year. I have been calling and contacting them for a year to give them his correct contact information. I am not sure what type of law firm just "googles" an address and puts that on file for legal paperwork but that is what I was told when I spoke with an EXTREMELY RUDE representative today. The last mail I got (on their letterhead with their envelope) was dated 11/5/19 and stamped 11/15/19. I have been asking for a year to be removed from the database attached to his account. We have been divorced since 2010 I SHOULD NOT be getting his important documents in the mail and they are ALSO putting me at risk since I do NOT want him to have my address. Very shoddy law firm and its disgraceful. A simple "googling" of the address would tell you he's an inmate. I would 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND their services and will be posting my review on every website and social media site possible.
