I booked Mr. Tsakataras for a consult in a custody dispute. Leading up to my consult; I noticed two things, his impeccable record and background of handling custody matters. (Knowledge) And his determination, and responsiveness. (We had to reschedule the initial booking due to another matter that jumped into his lap.. But, I was happy to see an attorney that paid close attention to the emergency things going on; if he will do it for them, I’m sure he’d do it for any : everybody whom needed those services…) During my consult he made the most of both of our time, to coach me and prepare me to go toe to toe to with an attorney. Ensuring I understood completely, I took very detailed notes. He addressed all concerns and was never judgmental. I feel very confident in all his abilities. He is a literal gem. And no, he did not abruptly end the call at the 50 minute mark. His caring personality shines through, and I can only pray for his continued success and blessings.
George is a very kind person when you meet him and promises that the issue you are hiring him for, in my case a divorce, would be easy and inexpensive. During the first few months he does not bill much and takes it easy. Then as it gets closer and he knows he has you locked down he bills the living day lights out of you for anything and everything. The $5,000 dollar divorce shoots to $15,000 and more. He files extensions to push things back without telling you or claims it is the other counsel.
George comes across as a very nice person. He lacks communication skills and is very quick to blame the whole world when things go wrong. He needs to stand in front of a mirror and BLAME himself for the mistakes he causes. With one ounce of follow up and some major upgrade to communication maybe he would be better. Just try to get him on the phone? THAT IS A JOKE! Never answers his office phone and GOD FORBID you text him or call his cell! HE WILL BITE YOUR HEAD OFF! BUT for me I hope I NEVER see him or talk to him again in my lifetime.
