Chery Siskin’s conduct and integrity outside of her professional responsibilities as an attorney is questionable at best. She is mandated by the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct to live with integrity in her personal and professional life. In this situation, the Delaware court system ruled in favor of Plaintiff that Cheryl Sisken and her cohorts had indeed defamed the Plaintiff before Plaintiff filed a tort action for defamation. Ironically, Cheryl Siskin actually had the fiduciary duty to protect this Plaintiff under the Delaware Constitution and as a Delaware citizen as she authorized the defamation of Plaintiff. Unfortunately, after being reported to the Delaware ODC, the ODC determined that Cheryl Siskin did not have to abide by the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct in her personal life and that her illegal conduct was not worthy of discipline.
