Sunil Bakshi handled my representation when filing for divorce. I was very overwhelmed going into it, as I was a homemaker and mother to three small children. On our first meeting, Sunil was extremely compassionate and took a genuine interest in the details of my case. He wanted to hear my story and understand all the important aspects of it as it would pertain to my case. He would often ask how I was doing emotionally throughout the process, as well as how my children were coping. He explained everything in detail and made sure I understood every piece of the divorce proceedings. He worked with me to get everything I needed to support myself and my children. Sunil was always available to answer any questions or offer guidance. He is a no-nonsense lawyer who gets the job done efficiently and effectively. He will fight for his clients to ensure they receive everything they deserve. He is a very honest, sincere, respectful lawyer who truly has his clients' best interests at heart.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
