Geddy, Harris, Franck & Hickman, LLP is a law firm established in 1915 with an office in Williamsburg, VA. At this office location, there are 6 lawyers practicing general practice, administrative law, commercial litigation and 14 other areas of law.
We hired real estate attorney ANDREW FRANCK to represent our large family with the complicated task of selling our heir property. Mr. Franck was very easy to work with and he listened to everyone intently. He was accessible and he took the time to answer phone calls and emails which is rare these days for busy attorneys like himself. I found him to be diligence, proficient, and honest. Our closing was handled expeditiously and professionally. We highly recommend Andy and the firm of Geddy, Harris, Franck and Hickman.
Susanna Hickman is an excellent attorney. She helped with a decedent IRA, trust and real estate closing for my parents' estates and trusts.
He carefully read contracts and rental and warned us of what we had to do with the tenant in order to get them out when needed. He helped us very attentively with the sale of a prior home. He advised us on the will that we drew up to cover each other and at our death the rights of survivorship as well as how to convey the money to our children at a later time.

We were extremely disappointed by the service provided by Susanna Hickman at Getty, Harris, and Hickman. She made basic, repeated mistakes. We had to correct her on how to spell our legal names and who the co-trustees were approximately seven times. In the end, she missed a big problem with our need to adjust a trust and cost us at least $500 for work we shouldn't have needed. We are having another lawyer check her work because we lack any faith in her judgment and ability. We recommend you go elsewhere.
Incompetent with callous disregard for accuracy. One selling my house, they twice misstated the “Sales amount” by over $80,000. (Section R-5 Affidavit). When the inaccuracy was pointed out the responsible party laughed it off and asked us to just pen a new amount in. Unprofessional. Amateurish.
I was a casualty of a former attorney's ambition. The fact that they would have anything to do with someone who prosecutes on NO evidence says a lot about the firm. My appointed rep Hyman refused to tell me literally ANYTHING (though I begged to know what I had allegedly done & if there were bruises, etc) I assumed my abuser had hit himself with a chair as he told me he would-otherwise why would Gaten prosecute in 02/15 on no evidence? Now I see it was to bump up his record. Private pr to judge.
