I really tried my hardest to not have to file bankruptcy (I spent more on my credit cards than I should have in college, expecting the job market to improve more than it did when I graduated) but had to seek help when I finally realized I was in over my head. I don't think I was in as much debt as many that decide to go the bankruptcy route, but I needed help nonetheless. He handled everything extremely well, and now I have a fresh start. He was less expensive than most of the lawyers I initially inquired with - and had the most experience I could find. When I didn't know anything about the bankruptcy process, he didn't confuse me with unnecessary information. Pretty much everything about bankruptcy sucks (minus getting rid of all the creditors repeatedly bugging me), but he was quick and made it less stressful for me to go through.
After I lost my job, income was at a standstill and I was unable to even repay the interest on my debt. Mark took the time to work with me through my bankruptcy, and everything went smoothly. He was less than the other lawyers I consulted with, and I can't imagine having had a better experience during this trying time in my life.
He only talks to you when you meet with him the first time & when you go to court. He pawns you off on his assistants & blames them when there is a communication problem.
He was very expensive!! He seemed to know what he was doing & was competent but we were charged for every piece of paper used. Considering it was a bankruptcy & we didn't have any money it just seemed a little high.
