The attorneys at Yankwitt LLP gave me my life back. More than two years ago, I was sued for wrongful death and accused of selling a defective used car to a woman who died in a car accident. In fact, I did not sell a car to her and had never even met her. Needless to say, this was incredibly stressful and painful and took a serious toll on me and my family. From my first meeting with the attorneys at Yankwitt LLP, I knew that I was in the right hands. They honored my belief in God and the power of prayer. Through their ingenious investigative work and unending tenacity, they not only proved that I had not sold the car, but they also found the person who did and who had forged my name on the sales documents. Armed with this information and through their skillful advocacy, Yankwitt LLP persuaded the judge to dismiss the case against me. I cannot thank Yankwitt LLP enough for believing in me, fighting for me and allowing me to put this two-year nightmare behind me. Thanks dear friends
There is no doubt that hiring Yankwitt LLP to represent us was an excellent decision. I was suing the property manager of an apartment building I owned for embezzling funds. Yankwitt LLP obtained a very favorable settlement on the eve of trial. We not only avoided the time and expense of a trial, but we were awarded more than a million dollars as part of the resolution. The attorneys at Yankwitt LLP were aggressive but professional. They got the job done, and we can’t thank them enough.
Russell Yanquit was consistently professional, prompt, efficient and results-focused in my dealings with him. He was handling a case involving a potentially messy family and real estate situation, and did so with grace, good humor and an outcome which we were all satisfied with. His estimates of cost and time, and his advocacy for us as a negotiator with the party bringing the lawsuit against us, were all accurate, honest and fair. I would certainly recommend him very highly.
Mr. Yankwitt was personable and professional. He took the time to listen to my concerns and the details of my case. He was very clear in his assessment of my case and my options as a client. Also, he was very responsive to my questions, always returned phone calls and emails, and went out of his way to allay fears and provide excellent legal guidance. I felt I received superb legal counsel from a highly experienced professional. I would recommend Mr. Yanwitt and firm to colleagues and family.
Please feel free to call me for a personal recommendation of Russell. Might be the best lawyer I ever worked with. CONSIDERING I HATE THEM ALL!!!
Mr. Yankwitt is a breath of fresh air! Myself, having dealt with numerous issues on a very high profile, frustrating, costly case for almost four years with no end in sight, Russ came in with a fresh approach to try create a win/win for all parties. As in most cases he could have simply taken the attorney approach "lets litigate this forever", however Russ's approach was very different, responsive and realistically evaluating the pros and cons of the numerous cases in four jurisdictions.
The hardest-working attorney I've ever known. Russell is able to balance East Coast & West Coast time zones and speak with clients at any time 24/7. His courtesy to clients and opposition shows enormous patience and intelligence, which helps keep everyone on track. Good Federal experience; excellent education. Russell knows the ropes and will always go the extra mile on behalf of client. For my company, it's great to fly to White Plains & then if necessary, take train to Manhattan.
