Hired Attorney Gail Marie Boggio

I hired her a couple of years ago. She seems very knowledgeable about law but doesn’t seem interested unless you have unlimited funds. Does 1/2 the work if you are not rich. Tell her you come from money and she will take care of you.

I asked Gail Boggio to redo my will and create a trust since she was involved in drafting the original documents. My experience with her this time is awful - she's not organized; she can't find the documents I previously sent; she's not easily reachable (!) and not on top of my case when I was able to speak with her! Then when I received the bill, it was for extensive billing hours that does not seem justified. She's also rude! She constantly cuts me off when I'm trying to explain what I want to achieve in the documents. She's a terrible lawyer and very poor client services! Good luck if you hire her. She's checked out already!

My brother and I hired Gail to set-up my fathers Last Will and Testament. She was very good at explaining but charged more than what my father expected. When we asked about the price and why it was so high, she was very dismissive and rude. When my dad did pass away, my brother and I were named executors and she recommended that she represent us, since she was his lawyer. To keep things simple and in retrospect, not the best decision we made. She charged us a lot more, knowing that we were left money. She also seemed shady, giving us advice, that wasn't the most ethical. Not sure if she wanted more money thinking she was going to save us money. Basically, we did not take her advice, distributed the money to the people named in the will and cut all ties with Gail. Would not recommend, unless you want to believe the stories about lawyers.... prey on the weak and are super shady.

I needed someone to write a Will for me and my husband, as we have 3 young children. I asked around and a friend recommended me to her. We met with her and she quoted me $5000 to help write up the Will since we didn't have a lot of assets. After about 2 months with her and the paperwork for the Will just about complete, she hinted that the price would be slightly higher than she she quoted. We thought about a thousand more. It was not. In the end, we received a bill of over $16,000. that was more than triple what she predicted. As you know, if you do not pay a lawyer, you will end up in court and they will win because you are in their court. Once we expressed concern about the end cost for the same amount of work she initially told us would be $5000, she became rude and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend her to anyone.

Gail is super reliable if you’re an executor of a Last Will and Testament and you don’t want to pay out money of the estate. She advised me to spend ALL the money because my cousins, who were awarded money, shouldn’t get it. If I spent all the money, they can’t do anything. She told me that NY State has no timeline to pay out a Will. My father wanted to give money and I wanted to honor his wishes. I dropped her shortly after because she was super shady and cut throat to my cousins. She’s all about the money and completely unethical. Would not hire her unless you want to be in jail.

She is not honest or ethical. She can be very Determined to screw other people. Takes possible kickbacks from executors of estates. Doesn’t notify people when named in a Last Will. Advises her clients to spend all the money so there is no money left to give out to people named in the Will. I dropped her real quick.
