Ms. Kohn recently represented me in a child custody litigation in Family Court. (The consummate professional)—Attorney Ella Kohn is absolutely superb. Ella Kohn demonstrated a serious lack of communication throughout my case. Emails and phone calls were not returned in a timely manner, and during an emergency court appearance she failed to show up or notify me she would not be attending—despite receiving a voicemail the night before. She routinely asked the same questions multiple times across different conversations, which made it clear she was either disorganized or not paying attention to my case. In a custody matter, especially where a father already faces an uphill battle, this level of neglect is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend her for any parent who needs reliable and consistent representation.
