Corey Tallent has, since 2014, been practicing law under the Illinois State Bar. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and then UIC-John Marshall Law School, he has been litigating in court ever since.
Appearing in Cook, DuPage, Lake, LaSalle, Kankakee, DeKalb, and multiple other Illinois counties, he has routinely won motions for his clients, getting both mothers and fathers their parental rights, decision-making powers, parenting time, and child support.
His criminal defense work over 9 years has ranged from successfully defending traffic ticket and DUI clients to felony assault, battery, and attempted murder, obtaining not-guilty verdicts in over 30 trials across three counties. This experience gives him a unique insight into these overlapping areas, and he excels with orders of protection, restraining orders, and all aspects of family law.
