We had to get a G.A.L. for our child custody case. We choose from the list the court provided. Even though in the end Mr. Beck did side in our favor for custody I was extremely upset by this office. It took Mr. Beck five months after completing all the interviews to finish his report. costing us more every month for him to say in court he needed more time. Then they decided to bill us my ex's bill because they wanted one person responsible even though our court arrangement was 2/3 and 1/3 split.

Hired Attorney Joseph Beck

Words that come to mind after hiring Joe Beck for private mediation are: arrogant, lazy, uninformed and unprepared. He even tried to have his secretary try and bill me after I fired him. Simply put, Joe is truly awful at his job.

Do yourself a favor and find a different attorney. I'm not sure you can even call Joe Beck that because I get more communication from my dead grandmother. Does not return calls. Does not return email. When it is time to meet with him, he is unprepared, has not reviewed your case and bills you to sit there while he reviews his notes and case law for 45 mins. Speaking of case law, you'd think someone with years of practice would understand his field of work, but there he goes, Googling law questions, looking for answers. I wanted a lawyer, I got a joke.

Buyer beware. Look elsewhere. Will ruin your chances at custody. Will not take your case seriously. Most unpleasant legal experience. Do it yourself, the work product will be better than whatever crap Joe copy and pastes together.

Hired Attorney Joseph Beck

Mr. Beck was hired to mediate a new custody agreement between my ex wife and I. After our session 3 months ago, we have heard nothing. No email. No phone calls. Our requests and inquiries go un unanswered. He never did the work he was contracted to do. He is lazy. He is incompetent. Save your time, money and stress - look elsewhere.
