In Memoriam - Paul is remember with great fondness for his legal mind and kind heart. We continue to be inspired by his talent, vision, and friendship.
After graduation from law school, Paul served as a staff attorney and Assistant Clerk of the Hartford Probate Court for six years prior to entering private practice. He was a founding partner of Atlas and Hudon. LLP where he practiced until its merger with Capalbo Hourihan, LLC in 2021.
Paul was a member of the Connecticut Bar Association; the Hartford County Bar Association; and the Hartford Estate and Business Planning Council. Previously he served as a member of the Professional Advisory Committee for the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and as a member of the Connecticut Probate Court Rules Advisory Committee. He was a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
Peer-rated AV* by Martindale Hubbell, he has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for trusts and estates and in Connecticut Super Lawyers for estate planning and probate from 2007 until his passing in December 2025.
A graduate of the University of Rochester (B.A., 1967) and the University of Connecticut Law School (J.D., 1970), Paul was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1970 and U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut in 1971.
