Hired Attorney Thomas Parrino

I have the largest post divorce file in Hartford County. My ex is very wealthy and a sociopath narcissist... I hired Tom to supplement my legal team. He put an IMMEDIATE stop to the bullying, terrorizing tactics of my ex and his shady lawyer (my legal team's assessment) and the 'old boys' network of Hartford Family Court. His fees are ridiculously high, but if you are in a high net worth, advisarial situation, there is NO other option. He was HIGHLY effective, but his straight forward, no BS attitude might be difficult for those who have been traumatized by the divorce process and the complete lack of 'justice' in CT's Family Law courts, but my advise, you can't afford not to hire him.

Hired Attorney Thomas Parrino

I hired Tom for an uncomplicated case that turned into a disaster. Based on my experience, his billing practices raise serious ethical concerns and appear non-compliant with standard professional guidelines. I was consistently billed for what appeared to be unearned fees, including administrative tasks billed at full legal rates and repetitive research that provided no benefit to my case. When I questioned these significant discrepancies and requested a correction of the overbilling, Tom responded with hostility and evasion rather than the transparency required of an officer of the court. His billing statements were problematic vs the actual work performed. In my opinion, his focus was on the depletion of my retainer rather than a diligent resolution of my legal matter. His lack of competence was staggering. I strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere. I was warned and assumed no way he could be this bad. Salesman. Ask around.

If you are looking for an advocate who prioritizes your legal needs, keep looking. My experience with Tom was a major financial and personal nightmare. I hired him expecting professional representation, but what I received was a masterclass in aggressive billing and deeply disappointing conduct. The "legal services" provided were far from transparent, characterized by what I can only describe as excessive and vague billing practices. When I attempted to discuss these glaring discrepancies, I was met with evasion, spin, and hostility rather than accountability. It is one thing to be expensive; it is another to be exploitative. Tom appears more interested in draining a client’s funds than actually resolving a case efficiently. And legal advice was lousy while he talks weakly and endlessly trying to prove he isn’t an idiot. Ask around and all lawyers will tell you the same thing. Don’t be fooled.
