About Jennifer S. Peterson-Ramsey

Since 1997, we have provided individuals and families in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, Macomb and Livingston counties with the legal solutions they need for family law issues that they face. My case was a custody only dispute. My ex tried to fight hard with lies about income, lies about my ability to care for my child, lies about my mental health, etc. Jennifer was able to dispute all of his lies and she got me majority physical custody, as well as a final custody order that protected me from my ex's abuse and harassment. Jennifer is excellent at communication, responsiveness, and reading the room. She has extensive experience in Wayne County Circuit Court and other other metro Detroit courtrooms. She will not let you down. 10/10 recommend.

WHERE DO I BEGIN!!! OMG JENNIFER HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME LIKE NO OTHER, SHE IS GREAT AT WHAT SHE DOES! she was there every step of the way. although things got rough for me, i still till this day appreciate her very much! She worked around the clock for me and my case for custody.! Im not sure where i would have been without a bull dog like Jen. she handles her business and she loves and cares for her clients. she does what is needed and also is very honest and blunt to the core. I have had her for over 4 years and she still checks on me and my children til this day. I gave her everything she needed and she provided me with everything i needed to win all my cases! She is the truth and deserves over 10 stars if there were 10++. I love this women with everything in me. Thanks so much for your advice, time, information, and Service you provided for me. The day I made the difficult decision to divorce my husband, I didn't even know where to begin looking for an attorney, or what to expect about the process. I feel lucky that I found Jennifer right away. She dove right in and got things going, and kept me updated on every step of the process. Her guidance, professionalism and expertise truly helped make everything way smoother than I thought it would be. Without even knowing me, Jennifer seemed to understand where I was coming from, and everything went down in a way that made me feel safe and comfortable. That part might be hard to understand without more detail, but trust me that Jennifer got it, and this whole situation was better for me because of her intuition. I would hire her again in a minute, and recommend her to anyone who needs an attorney.

My child custody battle was a very difficult one. My ex-husband tried continuously to take me through court hearings simply to outspend me. He lied about work, education, income, and even his home situation. Each curve ball he tried to throw at me, Jennifer was always one step ahead; constantly exploiting his lies. We won every court hearing and not because it was simple but because she is extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, and fights for you just as hard as she would fight for her own.

Divorce is never easy, Jennifer took care of everything and made it easier. She was honest, reliable and was willing to fight for what was right.
