Robert “Bobby” Kane III is a litigation shareholder in the firm’s West Palm Beach office. He is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with deep experience in construction disputes, real estate matters, and business-related litigation. He represents large institutional clients, real estate developers, commercial property owners, shopping centers, high-net-worth individuals, and a wide variety of businesses in contract disputes, association/turnover matters, real estate disputes, employment issues, business torts, and insurance-related matters. In the construction and real estate industry, Kane represents developers, hoteliers, and a wide variety of businesses in connection with construction defects, association/turnover disputes, and real estate development disputes.

Bobby also has wide-ranging experience handling general commercial litigation, including high-stakes “bet the company” matters. He counsels clients pre-suit to help pursue practical business resolutions and represents them in state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute resolution forums. In addition, he has experience in products liability matters involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer, industrial, and technical products. He has represented manufacturers and retailers in complex cases in federal and state courts across the country, including mass tort and multidistrict litigation.

Bobby is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit and County Court Mediator. He also serves on the Palm Beach County Bar Association Circuit Civil Practice Committee, which advises the court on improvements to local practice and assists with community outreach. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Bobby was a student-athlete at the University of Florida, and was a member of two college football national championship teams with the Florida Gators.
