F. GREGORY BARNHART, senior partner, is a graduate of The Cornell Law School and widely recognized as one of America’s leading trial lawyers. Mr. Barnhart has more than 80 verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million. His wins include some of the highest verdicts in Florida in diverse cases including products liability, medical malpractice, aircraft and boating accidents, commercial disputes and estate litigation.
Mr. Barnhart has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the last 20 years and was named Best Lawyer’s “Lawyer of the Year” for personal injury litigation in Florida in 2010 and 2015. He has been listed as one of the “Top 100 Super Lawyers” and “One of Florida’s Top Lawyers” by South Florida Magazine and as one of the top lawyers in Florida in 2012 in Super Lawyers. He is also listed as a “Top Lawyer” in Florida Trend and Florida Legal Elite.

Mr. Barnhart is past President of the Florida Justice Association and past President of the Federal Bar Association. From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Barnhart sat on the Judicial Nominating Commission, the group that selects trial judges for Palm Beach County. He was appointed by the Florida Bar and by the Governor to serve on the Fourth District Court of Appeals Judicial Nominating Commission, which he chaired from 2010 to 2011.
Mr. Barnhart has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, which is limited to the top one percent of trial attorneys in the country. He is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a worldwide organization limited to 500 members by invitation only.
Mr. Barnhart is an ardent conservationist and has been Secretary of 1,000 Friends of Florida since 2005.
Mr. Barnhart is a regular speaker at seminars for trial lawyers in Florida and nationwide and is the recipient of the “Distinguished Lecturer” award from the Florida Justice Association.
