Scott Allan Sandler

I cannot recommend Scott Sandler highly enough. At the most vulnerable time in my life, my child was taken from my home by DCF and my ex-husband. Our case was particularly complicated as we were divorced in a different state, and my ex-husband did not live in Connecticut. From the moment I contacted Scott, he was there for me literally day and night. Scott’s professionalism and dedication were evident from the start. He remained calm during crises, providing the reassurance and attention that I desperately needed. A friend referred me to Scott, saying, “If you can get this man to take your case on, you should hire him,” and they couldn’t have been more right. Scott worked tirelessly on my case, and thanks to his efforts, all allegations were dropped, and my child was returned to me. I will forever be thankful for Scott Sandler. Can you give a 0! My experience with this GAL was extremely negative from start to finish. Although the court appointed him, I felt throughout the process that he did not listen to my children’s needs, did not consider important facts, and often inserted himself in ways that complicated rather than supported our case. His communication style frequently felt intimidating and emotionally manipulative, and instead of focusing on the children, he often diverted the conversation to his personal stories or unrelated anecdotes. My children consistently told me they were uncomfortable around him and did not feel heard. Their exact words were, “Dad, there is no one we dislike more than Attorney Sandler,” which says everything about how they experienced his involvement. I am relieved he is no longer on the Hartford GAL list, and I encourage any parent considering him to research thoroughly, ask questions, and ensure they feel confident their GAL will prioritize the children’s well-being. Run Run Run!!! Never helped us with our case Scott is The worst attorney he never gave did anything we asked if him he neglected all our resources That would’ve won us our case. Instead he just went along with whatever was suggested by the other side we were going against he is not as true and loyal he make himself out to be.

Scott Sandler was never able to outline or set any projected goals in the case. Never could define a finish or end result. All he does is draw the case out as long as possible to increase the amount billed. All he cares about is talking about his horrible childhood and scoring a soccer goal while charging you by the hour. Clearly States he does not care about anyone’s finances.
