Mr. Edwards has held leadership roles in pro bono service programs with the South Carolina Bar/Young Lawyer’s Division, has participated in the South Carolina Bar’s Ask-a-Lawyer Program, and is an avid representative of military personnel in residential landlord/tenant matters through Fort Jackson.
His civic activities include the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, the West Columbia Beautification Foundation, Richland Library Friends & Foundations Board, the Columbia YMCA, and the Vista Nights Rotary Club.
William (Will) Edwards practice includes automobile accidents, personal injury, wrongful death cases, civil and business litigation, residential landlord-tenant cases, and local government law. He is also licensed to practice in U.S. District Court.
Mr. Edwards was awarded the 2012 Pro Bono Award from the Service Members and Veterans in Law, and recognition in 2014 from the U.S. Department of the Army for his services. Mr. Edwards has also been awarded Top Young Attorney (2012) by Columbia Living Magazine, Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers, Rising Star by Super Lawyers, and has received an AV Preeminent rating; the highest rating possible in both legal ability and ethical standards, by Martindale- Hubbell.
