Joel L. Frank, Chairman, Managing Partner and Executive Committee Chairman of Lamb McErlane PC, concentrates his practice in commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts, attorney and judicial discipline and ethical matters, as well as election law.
He is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for general litigation every year starting in 2005, which is an annual recognition obtained by only 5% of Pennsylvania’s attorneys. Joel provides counseling to a number of corporate clients and often serves as an arbitrator and mediator. Prior to joining Lamb McErlane, Joel was a partner at a large Center City Philadelphia law firm.
Joel is very integrated in the community. He serves on several boards of directors including the National Board of Directors for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia (Philadelphia Zoo) and the Board of Directors of Mid-Penn Bank. He is a Commissioner on the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission. Joel is on the Advisory Board for the Satell Institute, a non-profit dedicated to corporate social responsibility. Joel is the former General Counsel for the Republican Party of Pennsylvania and was the longtime Solicitor for the Republican Committee of Chester County. He for years has served as the Solicitor for the Chester County Police Chiefs Association. Joel was recognized by the Chester County Council of the Boy Scouts of America as the 2018 Distinguished Citizen of the Year and as the Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Managing Partner Influencers of Law.
