I represent clients facing serious felony and misdemeanor charges. Throughout my career, I have obtained numerous reductions in charges and outright dismissals. Criminal law is more than just accepting the State's plea deal. Criminal charges are serious and can have life altering consequences if convicted. A criminal conviction can take away your ability to drive a vehicle, prevent you from owning a firearm, restrict employment, and land you in prison or jail.  Criminal convictions also carry steep fines that can be financially devastating to you and your family. Oftentimes, clients hire me during the investigation stage of their case before charges are even brought and I have frequently prevented charges from being formally filed.  In the event the State does proceed with formal charges, I will investigate your case fully and discuss with you all possible defense options to give you the best opportunity for success.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
