I felt my attorney was not experienced enough in this field. When the birth father showed up after being absent the previous 9 months and would not sign over his parental rights, he (the attorney) had no answers for me, said he had never had to go to a jury trial for this before. Attorney's are paid a high salary, so if you hold the future of a little child in your hand, either know your job inside & out, or give to someone who does. I would not recommend him to anyone going through adoption.
