Public Defenders office reassigned case to Mr. Abbott. He refused to consider anything other than his initial opinion of the case. He said "your guilty" in their first and ONLY meeting. He finally agreed to discuss the situation from our perspective with D.A. and got a plea. However, even at public defender rates, he charged over $450, mostly for work we were never made aware of, and when he finally did as he was asked, the case settled. I would never recommend him.
