Mr. Lopez provided sound legal representation in my divorce and custody dispute. He was very responsive to my calls and concerns.

Hired Attorney Mr. Carlos Lopez

I retained this attorney for a family law matter and later terminated representation. During my case, there were recurring issues with punctuality and availability. He arrived late to hearings and mediation, and on more than one occasion mediation was affected due to scheduling conflicts with other meetings. Communication was also a concern. My retainer depleted quickly, and I did not feel adequately advised on strategy before being encouraged to settle early. At times, disagreements between the attorney and his paralegal occurred while I was still on the phone, which I found unprofessional. While billing statements were provided, the representation did not align with my goals or what I expected for advocacy in a family law matter involving a child. Prospective clients may want to ask detailed questions about availability, delegation to staff, and case strategy before retaining.
