    Representative Matters: Served as project counsel during construction to the Design-Build Contractor of one of the largest P3 mass-transit infrastructure projects in the U.S. Worked closely with the project team on-site to provide daily, real-time analysis of issues arising in the field, contract review

    schedule analysis, assistance with monthly reporting requirements,

    responses to subcontractor claims.
    Served as project counsel during construction to an Owner in a dispute with EPC contractor over the finance
    construction of a 300MW coal-fired CFB power plant in Guatemala. Advised the Owner regarding the default termination of its EPC Contractor
    negotiated reprocurement contracts with subcontractors
    equipment suppliers. After serving as project counsel, represented the Owner in arbitration against the defaulted EPC Contractor. The case proceeded through a multi-week Evidentiary Hearing before the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce. Client ultimately received a Final Award of over US$300 million in its favor
    which defeated nearly all of the contractor's US$800 million counterclaims.
    Represented a general contractor in ASBCA appeal concerning the construction of tunnels
    shafts on the McCook Reservoir Project (Chicago, IL). After extensive negotiations, the Army Corps of Engineers agreed to completely dismiss its claims against the general contractor
    pursue the designer.
    Represented the general contractor of a four star hotel in Washington, D.C. against the lead designer
    architect concerning defective design of below grade structures.
    Represented international contractor in ICC arbitration in a dispute with an owner regarding the design
    engineering of a petrochemical plant in Egypt.
    Represented multi-national industrial manufacturing corporation in a dispute with a general contractor regarding the design, construction
    installation of coal-fired steam turbine generators for a municipal power plant in the Midwest.
    Recovered losses sustained by surety from its agent/bond producer for breach of agency agreement, breach of fiduciary duty,
    negligent misrepresentation regarding the bond producer's qualifications
    failure to provide adverse information regarding contractors.
    Obtained a multi-million dollar judgment after trial for a government contractor in a dispute regarding the Uniform Trade Secrets Act regarding the theft technical proposals to the federal government
    proprietary electronic medical claims processing systems.
    Represented international outsourcing company in a dispute with a Florida-based telemarketing
    internet services firm
    successfully obtained final judgment in excess of $2 million after a one week bench trial.
    Lead counsel representing financial institutions in state, federal
    bankruptcy court regarding special assets
    commercial foreclosures in cases involving assets in excess of $100 million.
    Served as lead counsel for a New York based electronics components broker against Fortune 100 manufacturer of military weapons systems in a complex commercial dispute regarding the acceptance, rejection, authenticity
    functionality of electronic parts supplied.
    Represented international steel corporation regarding sound transmission issues associated with a pre-fabricated flooring system installed in a high- rise condominium.
    Represented general contractor in an AAA arbitration regarding the installation of bath tubs, shower stalls
    tiling in a luxury high-rise condominium tower.
