My husband and I were nervous about hiring a new attorney since ours had retired. We did a little research and finally settled on Matthew John Kentner. We wanted to stay within our home town of Wapakoneta since we both originated from a small town it just felt right to stay local. We made the right choice hiring Matt. He helped get us through a very difficult time in our lives. I became disabled and no longer able to work. We are raising 2 grand children so money was already tight before this happened, but we were making it ok. With my husband being the only one working we tried our best, but we just couldnt make it work any more. Matt was able to help us through all of the documentation of bankruptcy, it wasnt an easy choice, but it was the right one. Matt helped us decide which chapter was best for our families situation. We are thankful for all of his help. His secretary Jeff is a pleasure as well. Our kids love him.
Matthew Kentner is the most Professional and Knowledgeable of the Legal system then any Attorney I have used in the past, and will represent me in any legal matters in the future.
I was disappointed that he didn't use a computer to look up a law document (that he was unfamiliar with) referred to in my dissolution paperwork. He offered an opinion based on his assumption of my rights regarding a law that he didn't look up. Therefore, his counsel proved to be unsatisfactory based on the particulars of my case, which he didn't take the time to review and verify before giving his counsel. Overall, however, I do believe that Mr. Kentner is a caring and knowledgeable lawyer.
