I first learned of Dan Roach’s law practice in 2016, when I asked a good friend of mine, a prominent lawyer in the Seattle/Tacoma area, to help me find the best estate lawyer in Walla Walla. She did her research and strongly recommended Dan Roach. I truly appreciate the kindness and patience with which Dan and his staff treated my mother. Her estate planning was thorough, but because of a challenging legal situation, settling the estate took more time than expected. My husband has a progressive disease and odds are he will need more care in the future than I can provide at home for him. Living in a community property state has pitfalls I was unaware of when I planned my retirement and estate years ago I was referred to Dan by both my family and a good friend when I found out about my lack of needed knowledge. Dan was able to explain the requirements we had to follow and the actions we needed to take to ensure that both my husband and I would be adequately taken care of in the future, no matter what it brings. Dan and his outstanding staff helped my family and I navigate through not only a difficult time but helped us understand what to do in a process that you don’t plan on finding yourself in. Dan explained information to us in a very simple way and the will that he had developed for my mother was easy to follow when she passed. Dan Roach was not only professional, but also "user-friendly" for me as an 80 year old widow! He prepared the necessary forms for my estate planning with every explanation I needed. And, given that this has taken place through the Covid pandemic, he and his staff were effective and flexible-we used phone, email, and Zoom to get to the final in-person meeting to sign the documents.

This law office provided consistent, honest, transparent, and genuine service to my husband and I feel that the value of the products was high, modern (Dan stays current on industry and state standards by frequently attending seminars.) I am gratetful to have these articles complete for my husband and I.

I asked Mr. Roach to help with some minor revisions on my legal paperwork dealing with my trust, power of attorney, and living will. The extent of the changes was limited to name changes on these documents which had been done by legal council. Mr. Roach said the bill would be $350. Two weeks later he said it would cost $1500, produced no work and billed me $399 for an hour office visit. I had the work done for $250 in AZ.
