Ms. Garrett is not to be trusted. She blatantly mishandeld a simple motion failing to serve opposing counsel on two separate occasions. Then embarrassingly enough opposing counsel in open court asked to dismiss due to defective service. To add insult to injury Ms. Garrett's office is one floor above opposing counsels ,and still it took her 3 business days to deliver service. She then lied to me about the matter having been scheduled for a hearing. I hired her as a family law matter. We made a contract for several matters to be adjudicated. out of the three items we agreed she would address for a flat fee, Ms Garret followed through with only one, and that result was not great. I have seen many other lawyers in action over the years. Her performance was extremely poor in the courtroom she was overzealous before court during court she stumbled through her words she was bewildered ,and inconcise. she did not express to the court any arguments she had told me she would make.
