Michelle’s career began with internships at various District Attorney and Public Defender offices before serving as a prosecutor in Kings and Tulare Counties, where she managed cases ranging from misdemeanors to homicides, with a special emphasis on narcotics trafficking, gang-related offenses, and juvenile matters. Following her role in the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, Michelle worked with the Office of the Inspector General, overseeing the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
