Shawn helped me successfully navigate a complicated, emotional conflict with a merchant who defrauded me. It was my first time working with an attorney about a personal matter and it was as good of an experience as it could be. Shawn was understanding, empathetic, responsive, and rational throughout our entire journey. The issue resulted in the merchant meeting the terms of our (extremely well crafted) demand letter and avoiding court. I felt that Shawn understood me and my concerns. He took additional time to ask me what I wanted to do, present me with options, and recommend the best course of action. For this particular issue, there was no lawyer I wanted to have more than Shawn because of his previous experience with the merchant and he was understanding of that, despite me being one of Shawn's smaller clients (I'm sure).
