Kate earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Crime, Law, and Justice from Pennsylvania State University and her Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She is admitted to practice before the Virginia Supreme Court and is a proud member of the Virginia State Bar and the Military Spouse Juris Doctor Network.
Kate began her legal career in 2018 at a private firm in San Diego, California, where she specialized in Social Security Disability cases, helping clients secure vital benefits. Since moving to Virginia in 2019, she has worked for a non-profit law firm in Norfolk, Virginia covering diverse legal issues that allowed her extensive courtroom experience with her clients. She has also worked as a prosecutor, handling misdemeanor and felony cases that also allowed extensive courtroom experience as well as interaction with crime victims. This diverse experience has given Kate a unique perspective and ability to represent a wide range of clients with empathy and determination.
Today, Kate focuses her practice on assisting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging transitions. Whether it’s navigating a divorce, securing child custody, or resolving housing disputes, Kate offers practical legal solutions with a personal touch.
